The different levels of water damage include

Class 1 Water Damage

This damage takes place when there is very small quantity of moisture within the limited region. Generally only the porous materials like plywood get affected. This is minor damage that requires immediate repair involving drying the affected area.

Class 2 Water Damage

Class 3 Water Damage: This damage takes place when the ceilings, floors and walls along with insulation and carpet get saturated with excessive water. It is necessary to go for professional inspection for determining whether the house needs to be salvaged. Professional inspection is also required for determining the cost of water damage repair. Repair involves flooring, drywall panels, insulation and wall replacement.
